We live in GA but own a vacation home in St. Augustine. Our heating and air unit needed to be replaced. Taylor Refrigeration and Air Conditioning was quick to go out and give us a quote. We were able to replace our old unit right away! Great prices and great customer service! They made the entire process for us very easy.

I recently determined that I needed to replace my 15 yr old upstairs HVAC system. I received several quotes and found that Taylor Refrigeration and Air Conditioning provided the best value for me. They were responsive and detailed with their quote and the unit and new thermostat were installed while we were away for a few days. Their technicians were thorough, neat, and cleaned up after the installation was complete. They even came back out after we returned to make sure we were comfortable with the operation of the new digital WI-FI thermostat. I would highly recommend them! I also intend to have them provide a maintenance program going forward.

Extremely satisfied with service provided. Technicians arrived on time as scheduled. Very professional. Removed old equipment efficiently and without making a mess. Installed new hvac system in a timely fashion. Patiently worked with me to set up automated thermostat. Cleaned work area both inside and outside. Excellent experience from scheduling to installation. Taylor is a wonderful company.

I’d been with Taylor for several years and was generally happy with their services. However my latest experience caused me to leave their service agreement. My 7 year old Goodman system was giving me an error fault that their technician said was caused by coil deterioration being close to the beach. I discussed a couple of replacement options with their sales reps and the prime choice was the standard Carrier options with an aftermarket protective coating applied. Also their sales rep failed to mention that Carrier had a Coastal version of the unit which is far superior to the standard version with a coating he was offering. A friend recommended I contact a different service company which had a totally different take. The salesman could’ve made an easy sale based on the info I had but indicated that my unit didn’t look all that bad and suggested I have their tech look at it. Bottom line instead of spending 22K on 2 systems it cost me $169 for a new control board and an $87 service fee. I picked up their service contract for another $275. Honesty and expertise earned them a new loyal customer. I contacted Taylor to let them know what had occurred and that I was requesting a refund for the unused portion of my service contract. They were not willing to refund the unused portion feeling that I did not give them a chance to rectify the situation. I respectfully disagreed since I was relying on the expertise of their tech and he never offered to send a more experienced tech to check things out. To me these 2 misses warranted a swap to a company that had more expertise and was more up front with me even though they could have made an easy sale as well as a refund of the remaining portion of my service contract .
